Overview
The Institute for Climate, Green Solutions and Innovation (ICGSI) serves as a Project Executing Agency (EA), receiving project-specific mandates from designated Implementing Agencies (IA) to carry out full or partial execution of development projects. Under the oversight and supervision of the IA, ICGSI is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of project activities, ensuring that objectives are achieved efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with agreed frameworks.
As an Executing Agency, ICGSI undertakes:
- Operational planning and implementation of project components
- Procurement and financial management of project resources
- Coordination of stakeholders, consultants, and partners
- Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on project progress
- Ensuring compliance with donor and agency requirements
With its expertise in climate action, green innovation, and sustainable development, ICGSI brings added value in delivering high-impact projects that align with national priorities and global sustainability goals.

ICGSI’s Role as a Neutral Execution Hub for Effective Project Delivery
As a neutral and trusted project execution hub, the Institute for Climate, Green Solutions and Innovation (ICGSI) is committed to avoiding conflicts of interest and ensuring the transparent, accountable, and efficient management of all project activities entrusted to it.
This includes the day-to-day coordination, administration, and execution of assigned project components under the supervision of the Implementing Agency (IA). ICGSI’s approach is built on strong operational systems, professional integrity, and institutional independence, which allow it to function as a non-partisan platform for multi-stakeholder collaboration in climate resilience, sustainable development, and green innovation initiatives.
